ĦĦHaining is the home of leather and leather garments, leather industry is the backbone industry of Haining. There are 13 tanneries and over 4000 enterprises for leather products and leather garments, the annual leather garments output hit 14 million pieces, accounting for one forth of the city's total output value, which are saled to 40 countries and regions such as Russia, Canada, France, Germany, Holland, Japan, Korea and Hong Kong etc. The total leather garments amount and sales value stand the first among the counties in China, with the reputation of the capital of leather garments. Zhejiang Fubang Group is one of the 10 strong tanneries enterprises in China. Xuebao brand leather garments was regarded as the most satisfied products by China Quality Association and as one of the China's 10 Famous Brand Garments by China Garments Association. Xuebao and Mengnu brand leather garments was awarded "China 10 Genuine Leather Garments King". There are 34 enterprises in our city who have got the Genuine Leather Mark. ĦĦApproved by Haining Planning And Economic Commission, Haining Leather Industry Association was established in 1997, now having 76 group members. The association is a trade self-control orgnization including enterprises and other units in the same trade, the legal rights are guaranteed by law. ĦĦThe association is a bridge between enterprises and the government, with the function of trade management including establishing trade economic order, co-operating with organizations both at home and abroad etc.
